Sol Lewitt Based Pavilion

Skills Used: Adobe Suite, 3D modeling, scripting (Sciptographer)

This was a study in which an architectural pavilion was based upon an artists sculpture. I chose Sol Lewitt, an artist known for his rule based forms. My final structure used a scripting concept on its surface, so that the holes involved changed size based upon orientation.

Artistic Form Defining Structure

I include this for a number of reasons. It was another project that connects with my feeling that programming/programmatic design can influence everything. The final boards hold a number of useful graphic design techniques. Beyond this, the physical objects created were one of my first steps towards prototyping concepts in the tanible realm.
