I've been a member of the Ann Arbor MakerSpace and teachign classes there since 2011. It has been an interesting place, to share my skillset and try to find a way to aid the Ann Arbor Community.
A Myriad of Geeky Projects
Through the space I've committed to a number of projects. I teach classes on Arduino along with aiding in the courses on using the Laser Cutter we have an 3D printers. Beyond this I help with other coursework, helping out at the local library, and providing example of more advanced visual crafts that benefit from the connection to cnc design equipment. This can be seen as a continual volunteer project, one that I intend to continue with regardless of the city I'm in.
