I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters in Information Science, Human Computer Interaction, but also did work towards a Masters of Architecture and a Masters of Science in Architecture. Alongside this I was an active member of the Ann Arbor Hackerspace, creating a variety of more geeky/artistic creations.
Scripting for Architectural Design created my initial steps into combining creativity and programming.
Various competitions and course work, ranging from the CHI competition to explorations in the classic Nielson Heuristic techniques and good rules for layout and visual design led where I ended up in school.
Throughout this I continued to teach courses on Arduino and 3D printing at the local hackerspace.
